Beta and Early Access Terms

1. When these terms apply

These terms supplement your agreement with ClinBound LLC when you use a designated pre-release build, such as TestFlight, or a feature identified as Beta, Preview, or Early Access. A label describes maturity; it does not exempt a released app or its operator from legal, privacy, security, payment, or platform obligations.

2. Expectations and data

Pre-release features can be incomplete, inaccurate, interrupted, changed, or removed. A testing build may expire or require a new installation. Keep independent copies of important work. Do not put your only copy of an essay or a deadline record into testing software.

The Privacy and Retention policies still govern data collection and deletion. We will disclose a materially different test data flow and obtain any required permission before using it. Beta participation does not authorize undisclosed data collection, disregard a deletion request, or permit indiscriminate destruction of production records.

Where a planned test reset could affect stored work, we will give notice and an export opportunity when practical. An unexpected failure may prevent that opportunity. This is a limitation to plan for, not a waiver of a legal remedy.

3. Study content and feedback

Beta study content includes AI-drafted questions that have not completed independent expert review. It is supplementary practice, not official examination preparation or evidence of eligibility or likely admission. Check important claims and report suspected errors.

You may provide feedback voluntarily. We may use your suggestions to improve the product without compensation or attribution, as described in the Terms. That does not authorize public disclosure of personal information included in a report. Do not submit third-party secrets or patient information. No promise of future features, employment, payment, or ownership arises from giving feedback.

4. Access, payment, and platform rules

We may change or end test access for operational, safety, legal, or product reasons. This does not automatically terminate a separate paid production subscription or entitle us to keep charging for a service we no longer provide. Applicable paid-service and consumer rights remain governed by the Billing Terms and law.

Apple TestFlight and sandbox purchases follow Apple’s testing rules. We do not sell access to TestFlight or require payment for test transactions. If you already have a real production subscription, manage its renewal separately with its actual billing provider.

The ordinary Terms’ lawful warranty and liability limits also apply to testing; these Beta Terms do not add a broader release of negligence, statutory rights, or claims.

Send feedback, accessibility issues, or other concerns to ClinBound LLC at support@clinbound.com. Include the app version and steps to reproduce a problem, without passwords or unnecessary personal data.
