School Data and Published Statistics Disclaimer

1. What this document covers

ClinBound LLC ("ClinBound," "we," "us") shows information about medical and dental schools: admissions statistics such as medians and averages for GPA and test scores, acceptance rates, in-state and out-of-state proportions, entering class size, tuition, prerequisite coursework, stated requirements, deadlines, and similar figures. It also covers the third-party programs listed in the opportunities catalog, with their deadlines, costs and eligibility notes, which we compile the same way. This document explains where all of that comes from, what our labels mean, and what we do and do not promise about it. It forms part of the Terms of Service.

ClinBound is not the publisher of these facts. Each school is. We compile what schools and application services have published, record where we got it, and show that record to you. We are a reference and planning tool, not an authority on any school’s requirements, and we are not a substitute for the school’s own current published information or its admissions office.

2. Where the figures come from, and what the labels mean

We work from first-party sources — a school’s own admissions pages, class profiles, bulletins and published requirements, or an application service’s published data — and we record a source for each figure. Every figure in the app carries one of these labels, and the label is the disclosure:

• Verified means we checked that figure against an identified source, and the app shows you the date we checked it and a link to the source. It does not mean verified forever, verified by the school, or endorsed by the school.
• Historical stat means the figure describes a past cohort or cycle. The app shows the cycle year where the school states one.
• Unverified means we have not yet checked that figure against a first-party source. Treat it as a starting point for your own check, not a fact.
• Generated by AI means model output, described in the AI and Educational Information Disclaimer. It is not a verified school figure.

A figure that carries no source link is not a verified figure, whatever else the screen says about it. Where our number and the source disagree, the source is what matters — that is why we show you the link.

3. What we do not promise

We do not warrant that school figures are accurate, complete, current, or fit for any decision you are about to make, to the extent that warranties may lawfully be disclaimed. Specific and ordinary reasons a figure can be wrong for you:

• Schools change requirements, prerequisites, tuition, deadlines and policies, sometimes mid-cycle, and sometimes without republishing a page we previously read.
• Schools publish corrections to their own statistics after we have recorded them.
• A figure describes a past entering class. It is a benchmark, not a threshold, a cutoff, a prediction, or an eligibility rule. A median is the middle of a class, which means roughly half of that class was below it.
• Averages and medians are different measures and are not interchangeable. We label which one a figure is, and an average of admitted applicants is not the same as an average of matriculants.
• Schools word requirements in their own terms. Our prerequisite and course categories are our own organizing scheme for planning, and a subject-area match is not a determination that a specific course, credit count, lab component, grade, recency, or substitution will satisfy a specific school.
• Cost figures may exclude fees, health insurance, equipment, living costs, residency reclassification rules, or increases for later years, and financial aid is decided by the school.
• Coverage is uneven. Some schools do not publish some figures at all, and where that is so the app shows the gap rather than an estimate.

Readiness results, comparisons, and generated plans that draw on these figures inherit their limits. None of them is an admissions probability, prediction, or guarantee.

4. The school’s own current information controls

Where anything in ClinBound differs from what the school or application service currently publishes, theirs is correct and ours is not. Before you rely on a figure — deciding where to apply, choosing or dropping a course, planning for a cost, or working to a deadline — confirm it with the school or the application service. Confirm deadlines and requirements directly, and keep your own deadline calendar; our reminders are a convenience and can be delayed or missed.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ClinBound is not responsible or liable for admissions outcomes, application decisions, course or program choices, costs incurred, missed deadlines, or other consequences of relying on school figures shown in ClinBound rather than confirming them with the school. The limits and exclusions in section 9 of the Terms of Service apply to those claims.

These limits do not apply to fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability or remedy that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit, and they do not displace non-waivable consumer-protection rights. Nothing here permits us to describe our own data as more certain than it is.

5. No affiliation, endorsement, or sponsorship

School, university, program, application-service, and examination names and marks belong to their owners. We use them to identify the school a figure describes — nothing more. No school, university, application service, or testing body sponsors, endorses, approves, reviews, or is affiliated with ClinBound, and none of them supplies us data under an agreement, unless we expressly identify a documented relationship. References to AAMC, ADA, ADEA, AMCAS, AADSAS, the MCAT or the DAT are references to published material, not claims of a relationship with those organizations.

Links to school and third-party sites are provided so you can check a figure at its source. Those sites are not ours; we do not control their content, availability, accuracy, or privacy practices.

6. Programs in the opportunities catalog

The opportunities catalog lists programs run by other organizations — research placements, scholarships, summer programs and similar. Everything in a listing, including its deadline, cost, eligibility, citizenship requirement and application process, is that organization’s own published information compiled by us, and every limit in sections 3 and 4 applies to it exactly as it applies to school figures. Programs change or cancel their offerings, close applications early, and fill places before a published deadline.

Listing a program is not an endorsement, recommendation, or vetting of it, and we are not a party to any arrangement between you and that organization. We do not screen programs for quality, safety, legitimacy, or how they treat participants, and we receive nothing for listing one. Confirm the deadline, the cost, and whether you are eligible on the organization’s own page before you apply or pay anything, and apply your own judgment to any program that asks you for money or personal information.

7. Tell us when a figure is wrong

Any school page in ClinBound has a report option for a figure you believe is wrong or out of date, and you can write to us at support@clinbound.com. Please include the school and the figure, and a link to the school’s page if you have one. We correct, re-source, label, or remove figures we cannot substantiate. We do not promise a response time, and reporting an error does not create an obligation to keep any particular figure available.

If you are a school or application service and something we show about you is wrong, incomplete, or attributed to the wrong source, write to the same address and tell us what it should say.

8. Changes to this document

We may update this document. A material change carries a new effective date, and the version incorporated into your agreement is the one identified in the Terms you accepted — a later edit does not silently amend it. The Terms of Service govern how updated documents are presented for acceptance.
